What is an IPL Photofacial?
Photofacial are non-invasive treatments that eliminate pigmentation issues such as age spots, sun spots and broken capillaries, leaving you with a clearer, more even tone complexion.
Where can photofacials be used?
The most common areas are the face, neck and décolletage; however, it can be used anywhere on the body.
How long does IPL laser treatment take?
Once the treatment is ready, a full face treatment can be completed in 15 minutes, although time varies depending upon the area being treated.
How soon will I see results?
Results can be seen after just one treatment, although three to four treatments at four week intervals is typical in order to receive optimal results.
Are there any potential side effects from laser treatment?
Side effects may include slight redness (most clients return to natural color within 20-30 minutes). Pigmentary change of the skin, blisters and hot spots are rare but occasionally occur.
Who shouldn't receive IPL Photofacials?
One should not have a Photofacial if they have been recently tanning or if they are skin types IV or V.
