ARC Diabetes Care

What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a chronic health condition that causes blood sugar levels in the body to rise above normal. Our body uses a hormone called insulin to help control our blood sugar levels, but those with diabetes either don’t have enough insulin, or their body can’t properly use insulin. Common symptoms related to diabetes can include increased urination, thirst, hunger, and unexplained weight loss.

Your well-being is the top priority for ARC Diabetes Care. We specialize in providing diabetes care exclusively for patients ages 18-99, ensuring that our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals within this age range. We work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that helps you live your best life while preventing additional health complications associated with diabetes.

Diagnosis and evaluation

Our experienced diabetes care expert orders diagnostic blood tests to measure your blood glucose (sugar) levels and find out the type of diabetes you have. This important step enables us to identify the care you require. Testing is simple, and results are usually available quickly.

Diabetes care

ARC offers a comprehensive range of diabetes care options. Your ARC endocrinologist will recommend care options based on the type of diabetes you are living with. Care options may include oral medication, insulin injections, education, resources, and/or lifestyle recommendations.

Not managing, or improperly managing your diabetes can lead to serious complications, including heart attack, kidney or heart failure, vision loss, and amputation.
