About Nina Nandy, MD, MS, ABOM, FACG

  • Dr. Nandy is from the East Coast and new to the Central Texas area, so she is looking forward to learning more about local offerings. In her free time, Dr. Nandy plays piano and guitar, paints, explores the music scene in Austin, and manages her two “famous” cats’ Instagram accounts!

I chose a career in Gastroenterology due to the focus on chronic and acute issues; the variety and complexity of cases; and the ability to perform cutting-edge minimally-invasive procedures in order to understand a patient’s condition inside and out. I believe in educating and empowering my patients with respect to their medical conditions-so that we can make informed decisions together as a team. I take a holistic approach to medicine, combining lifestyle modifications with evidence-based medicine individually tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

I did not like the wait time between making the appointment and actually visiting the doctor. Otherwise that Dr Nina Nandy is excellent.

Dr. Nandy is my gut hero! I’ve struggled with gut discomfort for too long. She doesn’t waste my time and is thorough. She was so helpful and truly wanted to get to the root cause of my symptoms not just treat symptoms. I adore her and her staff. I’ve never waited in the waiting room for more than 3 minutes! Love this practice and Dr. Nandy!!! Thank you for everything!!

That I was able to see the Specialist before the Holidays, and will be having my Day Surgery in a few weeks. That will ease my mind, and hopefully will resolve my medical problem.
