Dr. Wu was born in Kunming, China, and moved to the U.S. as a child. When she is not working, Dr. Wu enjoys biking, hiking, yoga, bouldering at Austin Bouldering Project, and checking out the new restaurants around Austin. Among her favorite area locales is Pedernales Falls State Park for “fantastic hiking views and reconnecting with nature.” Her favorite spots for food include El Tacorrido for tacos, Ramen Tatsu-Ya for dipping ramen, and Bananarchy for desserts!
I’ve always liked building relationships and helping people. Family Medicine encapsulates all of my interests – treating patients of all ages, hands-on procedures, women’s health, and preventive medicine. It is ever-evolving and changing based on new advancements and discoveries. I believe the art of medicine is a two-way street between patients and the provider. It should be built on a foundation of trust, knowledge, and relationships. I look forward to building trust and practicing evidence-based, patient-centered care.
