About Travis M. Averitt, DO

  • Dr. Averitt grew up in Temple, TX. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his family and dog, cycling, and supporting the Texas Longhorns. So his favorite local spot is DKR Stadium on game days in the Fall! Otherwise, you can find Dr. Averitt in “any place that serves good coffee, BBQ, or tacos.”

I chose a career in family medicine because it gives me the opportunity to maintain a variety of skills and take care of all ages. I enjoy developing lasting relationships with my patients as we work together toward optimizing health. I practice up-to-date, evidence-based medicine within an environment that encourages and facilitates patients who are informed and involved in their health plan.

    I like the office. It’s never crowded. I can see my excellent doctor in a timely manner. Dr. Averitt is relaxed, knowledgeable, and prepared. I recently chose Dr Averitt after seeing several doctors for a chronic condition. His treatment was accurate and I was on the mend almost immediately.
