For me, medicine is not only my career, it represents my philosophy and way of living. Medicine allows me to connect with people, get to know them, listen to them, educate them, help them, and even learn from them. When I see patients, I see beyond the current complaint to the person as a whole. My patients are not numbers of medical conditions, they are individuals and need my distinct and individual attention, respect, and care.
