Dr. Ebneshahidi says “I really do consider myself from the world,” having been born in Iran and then moving to Canada, where he lived in Toronto and Vancouver. He also had the opportunity to live in Guadalajara, Mexico, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico. When he is not working, Dr. Ebneshahidi enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with his wife and young daughter. His favorite Central Texas locales are Austin’s greenbelts and hiking trails.
I chose a career in medicine and family practice because I enjoy the patients’ diversity of age range and medical conditions in this field. I truly believe in preventive medicine, in addition to providing counseling to my patients to lessen the impact of their chronic medical conditions on their general health. I focus on providing patient-centered and evidence-based primary care, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
