28 Austin Regional Clinic Physicians Named Texas Super Doctors

December 2, 2024. 28 Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) physicians representing 11 specialties have been named Texas Super Doctors® 2024 by Texas Monthly magazine.

Two of the 2024 Super Doctors, Joseph M. Leary, MD, and Ross F. Prochnow, MD, have achieved Legacy status, receiving the honor 15 years or more.

Super Doctors® is a selective yet diverse listing of outstanding doctors from more than 40 medical specialties who have attained a high degree of peer recognition or professional achievement. The top doctors are selected by their peers through a rigorous nomination process and the independent research of MSP Communications. The 2024 list is published in the December 2024 issue of Texas Monthly.

What makes a doctor "Super" in the eyes of their peers? MSP Communications asked more than 50,000 medical professionals in Texas to nominate one or more doctor based on one question: "If you needed medical care in one of the following specialties, which doctor would you choose?"

"These 28 doctors in our group do indeed provide the excellent, high-quality medical care for which ARC is known and respected. We are very proud of this honor in recognition, by their peers, of their professional excellence," said Anas Daghestani, MD, President and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic. "We know patients, as well as ARC, appreciate the outstanding care they and their colleagues provide every day. Congratulations to them all!"

Approximately 5% of all active Texas physicians are selected to the Texas Super Doctors list.
