ARC Senior Care receives highest recognition

ARC Senior Care Pflugerville has achieved the highest level of recognition as an Age–Friendly Health System – Committed to Care Excellence. Delivering and documenting ongoing, evidence-based, high-quality care to older adults, known as the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility, led to receiving this highest recognition.

"Senior Care feels honored to join the ranks of a growing movement of organizations globally achieving success towards excellence in care for older adults," says Gowrishankar Gnanasekaran, MD, MPH, ARC Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at ARC Senior Care Pflugerville.

ARC Senior Care received an initial level of recognition in late November 2023. Age-Friendly Health Systems is an initiative of The John A. Hartford Foundation and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), in partnership with the American Hospital Association (AHA).
