Medicare is a health insurance plan for people ages 65 and up, or those with certain conditions or disabilities. Open Enrollment for a marketplace health plan on HealthCare.gov is open from November 1 – December 15 for your coverage to start January 1. Stay with your ARC care team by choosing one of the following health plans: Blue Advantage, MyBlue Health, Sendero, or UnitedHealthcare Exchange Plan.
Effective January 1, 2027, we are not in network with Superior's Ambetter Health Insurance Marketplace (HIM) plans.

Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive vein treatment performed to eliminate spider or varicose veins. During the procedure, a sclerosing solution is injected into the problem veins. This solution causes an irritation to the inner lining of the vein, ultimately causing it to collapse. Over time, the treated vein fades away.
If you're pregnant or have a history of blood clots in the treatment area, sclerotherapy is not recommended.
The number of treatments required depends on the severity of your spider or varicose veins. Most patients require multiple treatments for optimal results.
There is minimal downtime associated with sclerotherapy injections. You can usually resume normal activities immediately after the treatment.
You may start to notice a difference from sclerotherapy injections within a few weeks, and the full effects are often visible within several months.
You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or itching at the injection sites. These side effects are typically temporary.
We advise you to wear compression garments following your sclerotherapy procedure. This is to help reduce swelling, speed up the healing process and improve your results.
Other than spider veins in the legs, sclerotherapy injections can be used to eliminate those in the hand, arms, chest, feet, and ankles.
