Austin Regional Clinic has opened a new location to meet growing needs for medical care in Buda, the Hays County community that has doubled in size over seven years.
The 3,500-square-foot ARC Buda has two family medicine physicians, Drs. Mary Ann Gamble and Margaret "Molly" Gilmore, who relocated from ARC Kyle Plum Creek. Pediatrician, Dr. Michael (Mike) Ward, will join the team in early December, relocating from ARC South 1st Specialty.
The new clinic is located at 3420 FM 967, Suite B-100, near Buda's YMCA and Dahlstrom Middle School. ARC Buda is ARC's 23rd clinical location in Central Texas.
ARC anticipates further expansion in Hays County. Like much of Texas, Buda has seen a surge of population growth, from about 7,300 residents in 2010 to more than 14,000 today, making it one of the state's fastest-growing cities.
"That is increasing demand for quality medical services located close to home and work," Clinic Manager Victoria Escamilla said. "Buda residents can get the primary care they and their families need in a timely manner."
ARC patients enjoy access to such conveniences as same-day appointments, online appointment scheduling, 24/7 phone scheduling, the ARC MyChart patient portal, After Hours Clinics and nursing services through the night.
