Family Medicine
Dr. Dunkle grew up in Round Rock, TX. When he’s not working, he can be found near large bodies of water with friends – Lake Travis, Barton Creek, Hamilton Pool, etc. – likely behind a grill. Dr. Dunkle also enjoys finding new cuisines to cook at home, and is also a cat dad to “an awesome Nebelung named Nadja.” His favorite Central Texas spot is Juan In A Million Tex-Mex in Austin.
Initially, I chose a career in medicine simply to contribute to my community in the most clear and impactful way I could. Along the way, I discovered how positively my patients’ trust in and gratitude for my judgment and care affected me. I now see the clinic as more of a two-way street in which I get to share in the excitement of my patients’ successes and goals, and feel that positivity through the therapeutic relationships we form. I see my role as helping patients understand their conditions and the resources they have available to them, then facilitating care to meet their specific goals and lifestyles.
