About Jacqueline R. Karathra, MD

I love being part of my patients’ lives and having the privilege of watching their families grow through different life stages. Family Medicine gives me the unique opportunity to get to know my patients well throughout their lives and learn about the unique circumstances that affect their health. I love being able to work together with patients to see the bigger picture of how we can optimize their health so they can more fully enjoy their lives. I believe less is more, and early prevention is key. Many health conditions can be improved with simple lifestyle modification, exercise, and medications when necessary. The patient-physician relationship is a partnership where my role is to advise, educate, and listen to my patient's concerns, and their role is to take active ownership of their health so we can work together to address health concerns.
