About Andres D. Pardo-Agila, MD

  • Dr. Pardo-Agila grew up in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in South America. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing outside with his daughter. He keeps active with biking, swimming, walking, and running. Being relatively new to Central Texas, Dr. Pardo is looking forward to exploring Austin, including trying new foods and coffee shops.

I decided to pursue a career in medicine due to influence from my family, and the desire to diagnose and monitor medical conditions and help improve their health. I also have a special interest in geriatric medicine, and chose this career due to the generational changes that we see in our current population, as life expectancy is increasing. We need to help keep seniors healthy and independent. In my practice, I like to promote good health habits, and focus on chronic medical care and senior care.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant experience

The process of scheduling an appointment with a doctor 3 months out was a bit too long but understandable considering the state of politics and healthcare. Actually going to my appointment was very efficient and easy, but I did expect more (not sure what more that is) for my first visit/physical. The doctor mainly just asked questions which could have been asked on the intake paperwork.

I get horrible white coat syndrome. I wish there was a way to fix that. Everyone I interacted with was very nice, too, so it’s all in my head but very personally distracting and frustrating just the same.

Dr Pardo-Agila's nurse was friendly, answered questions and did vitals in a professional manner. Dr Pardo-Agila, as always received us with a friendly and welcoming manner. I feel very comfortable with his mannerism, and he is knowledgeable about my present circumstances. Discussed several questions about my health and he gave several solutions to some of the issues I have. He is never in a hurry and always includes a sincere smile and handshake upon arriving and leaving.
