Self-care made easy with extended hours for mammograms at ARC Far West

extended hours mammograms in Austin

Been putting off that mammogram? We just made it easier for you with evening and weekend hours available at ARC Far West starting Monday, April 26. You can get 3D or 2D screening mammograms.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings 5 pm – 9 pm (last appointment at 8:40 pm)
  • Saturdays 8 am – 3 pm (last appointment at 2:40 pm)

Mammograms play a key role in early breast cancer detection and can help decrease breast cancer deaths. Often, a mammogram can detect cancer, noncancerous or benign tumors, and cysts before they can be felt. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommends average-risk women begin receiving screening mammograms at age 40. ARC will see patients who have breast implants and recommends regular appointment screenings.

Mammograms are still offered during the week at both locations

  • ARC Far West Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 am-4:30 pm,
Tuesday and Friday 7 am-3:30 pm
  • ARC South 1st Monday-Friday from 8 am-4 pm

Schedules at both locations are open NOW, so book this important appointment and take care of yourself!
