We are happy to welcome Alexis C. Wilson, DO, MS, FAAP, IBCLC, to the Pediatrics team as an ARC Network Float.
ARC pediatricians offer a full range of services for patients from birth through 18 years. We offer appointments to fit your schedule and lifestyle, including regular clinic visits, televisits, Same-Day Visits, After Hours appointments, and 24/7 phone nurses.
"I practice a patient-centered approach, drawing from principles of trauma-resilience informed care with a strengths-based approach," says Dr. Wilson.
Buffer children from stress and adversity
"Reducing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) is vital for long-term health," says Dr. Wilson. "Foster a stable, nurturing environment with strong, positive relationships with caring, supportive adults to buffer children from the harmful effects of stress and adversity."
Of her free time, Dr. Wilson says, "I enjoy exploring new eateries with my husband, who is also in medicine (US Army interventional cardiology fellow at UT Austin). Tex-Mex has become a favorite. We enjoy having season tickets to see plays and musicals at local theaters."
About ARC Float Physicians
Dr. Wilson is a Network Float physician and does not take appointments. These are doctors who fill in for other ARC doctors who go on vacation or help out with visits during a busy season. They provide the same care that you have come to expect from your ARC doctor and see patients at all ARC clinics.
