Learn more about Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
I chose medicine as my profession because it combined my love for the sciences, serving the community, and building relationships with people. The Family Medicine specialty fit me best because it easily satisfied all of my professional needs in harmony and provides a broad spectrum of practice. Medicine can be daunting and intimidating for patients, but developing a wholesome healthcare plan, communication, and trust is essential to obtaining the best outcome. The relationship between a physician and patient is very important to me.
