About Swati D. Date, MD

  • Dr. Date currently has long wait times for new patients. Please see below for physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) she recommends to new patients wanting to transfer or establish care at ARC.

If Dr. Date is your primary care physician, please book your appointment via your ARC MyChart account or call 512-ARC-INFO (512-272-4636).

Dr. Date was born in India, moved to the United States at age seven, to Houston at age eight, and Texas has been her home since. In her free time, Dr. Date enjoys cooking, reading (special interest in ancient civilizations and history), gardening, and birding. Dr. Date and her husband have two grown children and a dog “that is the baby of the family” and also requests a nightly walk! She enjoys the many interesting Central Texas spots where nature displays its beauty.

The inspiration provided by a close family friend who was a physician, my interest in the biological sciences, and the service-oriented aspect of medicine all led to my desire to become a doctor. I believe that health care is a partnership between the patient and provider.

Dr Date has been my doctor in past years. I was wanting to write her a thank you note but the messaging system is a pain in the head for something like that. She listened to me checked my ears etc and talked about my CT chest scan I had done that morning at NAMC and how I probably would not get results till the 26. But and hour after my apt I got a note I had new test data in my chart. I think she had a hand in that and wanted to thank her. No big C. Just other things I will follow up on or heart doctor and hepatology. It has been 2013 that I was finally going non detectable for hep C anterior the 3 rd drug study. Last used Incivic which is no longer used. Guess it is time to get my liver checked again. And keep an eye on my lungs. Rest and renew over the holidays. Thank you Dr D. Date and your nurse for my apt yesterday.
