About Shadi S. Mustafa, MD

  • Dr. Mustafa only sees patients for same-day illness and injury visits. Patients should always follow up with their primary care physician (PCP).

Dr. Mustafa was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his free time, he loves working out, trying all kinds of cuisines, traveling, hiking, spending time with family, and “sleeping – because all of that is exhausting!” Although Dr. Mustafa is relatively new to Austin, he already loves the gardens around the city.

I wanted to be a physician since I was nine years old; I loved studying human anatomy, and loved science. I chose Family Medicine because I wanted to always be able to practice the full breadth of medicine. I believe in continuing to be a student of medicine, listening and learning from all those who are willing to teach and to practice, and help those who need it with no discrimination. My goal is to provide the best care I can to the best of my ability.

  • April 3, 2025

Dr. Mustafa interpreted my symptoms in a very informed manner; not trying to peg my problem into a standard format, which is what was needed in this particular case Most impressively, he said he couldn’t tell from my description and symptoms exactly what was going on, so he ordered a stool sample taken, and will make further determination based on facts.

  • April 3, 2025

The Doctor and his staff were very professional, kind and made me feel like I mattered and didn’t rush through my appt and explained everything to me.

  • April 3, 2025

    Fast friendly and effective

  • April 2, 2025

It was fast, efficient & relevant for the questions I was asking.

  • April 1, 2025

Wait time was 55 min. No acknowledgment from the nurse or doctor. Appointment lasted 5 min or less. Seems like a lot of my time for a little of ARC’s.
