About Raymond L. Teoh, MD

  • Dr. Teoh grew up in Rockwall, TX, not far from Dallas. When he’s not working, Dr. Teoh enjoys traveling with his wife, playing with their two dogs, and woodworking in the garage. His favorite place in Central Texas is the Mueller Lake Park.

I chose Pediatrics as my specialty because not only can you be silly around kids, but you can also teach them and their families how to take care of themselves and start good habits that keep them healthy through their adult lives. I believe we are all on the same team with the same common goal – we want what is best for the child. Communication and education play a big role in getting everyone together toward that common goal.

I want to give Dr. Teoh a huge shout out for following my lead and helping teach my daughter body autonomy. When he came in the room I told my daughter (2 1/2) “Dr. Teoh is here and he is going to touch and look at your body to make sure you are healthy. It is okay because he is a safe adult and mommy is here” he did the first part of the exam and when it was time to look at her belly and touch her he said “I am going to touch your tummy now, mommy is here and you are safe” I was and am still super impressed and I really appreciate him supporting and helping to teach my daughter to establish body boundaries and safety. Major kudos!
