About Rachel C. Fresques, MD

  • Dr. Fresques grew up in Austin. When she is not at work, she enjoys “spending as much time outside as possible!” Dr. Fresques loves to run and swim, and has a dog that keeps her outside and active. She also spends a lot of time gardening and learning as much as she can about native Texas plants. Her favorite area locale is Deep Eddy Pool.

I love to connect with people—hear their stories and about their lives. Ob/Gyn allows me to connect with people throughout their lives, in all its different stages. I have the opportunity to build lifelong relationships with my patients and help them as their priorities and health needs change, always building on the long-term relationship and understanding that we’ve built together over time. My goal has always been to empower people with their own health. Getting to serve as a partner/collaborator/resource for patients in that journey is my favorite part of practicing medicine.
