About
Kristin C. Campbell, APRN, CPNP-PC
-
Kristin was an "Army brat" and moved frequently, but grew up mainly in Virginia. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, saying, "managing everyone’s schedules is a full-time job!" She is a consultant with Mary Kay cosmetics for fun on the side. Kristin enjoys driving out to Fredericksburg for a good day trip!
Learn more about Nurse Practitioners.
I knew at an early age that I was interested in a career in pediatric medicine. I watched a St. Jude telethon with my grandfather and developed a heart for kids fighting cancer. I started my career in pediatric oncology and loved it, then moved to primary care to allow more flexibility with my family, and have loved that too. I believe in a shared care model of practicing. Parents and patients alike play an important role in choosing how to handle certain aspects of a child’s care. It is important to me that all parties are involved in decision-making when possible.
