About
Kofoworola (Kofo) Ohiomoba, MD
-
Dr. Ohiomoba grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and came to the United States at age 17 to attend college. In her free time, she enjoys hanging with her husband and children, reading, playing tennis, swimming, and sampling good restaurants. Dr. Ohiomoba’s favorite area locales are the Austin Public Library, Kalahari Resorts, and The Domain.
I had a life-saving operation as a toddler and have since been drawn to medicine. I love pediatrics for the opportunities it gives for prevention and intervention before disease occurs or becomes chronic. I want to stage interventions before a problem occurs, so preventive care is a big part of my practice. As a pediatrician, I also want to be a source of support and an advocate for parents. Plus, the kids are really cute!
