About Keerti K. Peterson, MD

  • Dr. Peterson grew up near Detroit, MI, and is relatively new to Texas. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, trying new foods, reading “whatever I can get my hands on,” traveling, exploring Austin, going to new/used book stores, catching up with her large extended family, and spending time with her husband, also a pediatrician.

There is something priceless about being able to watch your patients grow from toddlers into young children and eventually into full-fledged adults. I chose pediatrics to help guide this journey, advocate for my patients, and help them make healthy decisions that they will continue for the rest of their lives. Pediatrics is a team approach – the doctor, patient, and parents all get to work together to provide the best care for the patient.

We really loved Dr. Peterson, she was very kind and caring and seemed very concerned about our child’s health. I love that she called us with results rather than just putting them in my chart. She was very thorough and would definitely recommend her!
