About Jennifer C. Christensen, MD

  • When she’s not at work, Dr. Christensen keeps busy with her two children, who are actively involved with sports and music. She also enjoys playing with her dog, bike riding with the family, baking, and cooking. Dr. Christensen has studied and lived in Australia and the Pacific Islands of Tonga, Samoa, and Hawaii. While she is an “island girl,” she enjoys football and basketball in Central Texas!

I chose Pediatrics because it is a pleasure and an honor to care for children from newborn to adolescence, and I am passionate about preventive care. I want to help provide the best guidance for both well and sick children, and I believe in patient education and evidence-based medicine. Each patient is unique, and I work to find out what works best for each one while embracing cultural differences. I love to watch my patients grow and thrive!
