I chose a career in family medicine because it offers the unique opportunity to develop long-lasting relationships with individuals and families, spanning across generations. By being involved in their healthcare journey from infancy to old age, I can gain a comprehensive understanding of their medical history, values, and preferences. At the heart of my practice lies a commitment to compassion for the physical, emotional, and spiritual struggles. I strive to approach each patient with empathy and to understand their unique circumstances. By actively listening to their concerns, I aim to establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect.

It was so nice to feel 'listened to' by Holly Leal. She listened to my details before giving me a diagnosis. Many doctors, after you have only spoken 2 or 3 sentences, will make a determination. without hearing the important details. Holly Leal did not rush me or act disinterested. Holly has a great bedside manner which many patients need in stressful situations. There are way too many doctors who could take a lesson from Holly Leal and improve on their bedside manners.
