About Heidi M. Ostler, MD

  • Dr. Ostler is an ARC Family Medicine physician who sees patients at ARC clinics as needed.

Dr. Ostler grew up in southern Utah, near the beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park. When she’s not working, Dr. Ostler enjoys spending time with her husband, running, cooking and dancing. Being relatively new to the community, she says she still has a lot to see in the area, but one of her favorite places so far is Zilker Park.

I chose Family Medicine as my specialty because I didn’t want to work with just one group of people. I love treating all ages and a variety of medical issues, and being the primary care physician for an entire family is very fulfilling. I also have a special interest and training in pediatrics and women’s health issues. I work with my patients to help them be as happy and healthy as possible. In my experience, the art of medicine is 90% listening and 10% everything else.

The provider listened closely to my needs and symptoms then explained the plan in great detail so I felt at ease with my healthcare problems, I didn't feel like just another number walking through the clinic, Buda ARC puts patients first!! Great job everyone! Including the laboratory!!

All the front desk ladies showed interest in helping me. The nurse was kind and considerate and Dr Ostler was professional, caring and supportive. She set up my appointment for the MRI at the earliest and most convenient clinic. She made sure I set up the appointment for the specialist. As I was on my way home she phoned me and said I needed an X-ray and directed me to the nearest clinic to get it. They all made sure I was okay and I felt cared for. Means a lot to me.

Too much detail and stated that my insurance not covered. I was there in March with no problems. This turned in to a mess.

ARC needs to take care of the patients because I could not see my doctor since Oct. which affects my mental health that I had been asking that I need help.
