About Heidi M. Ostler, MD

  • Dr. Ostler is an ARC Family Medicine physician who sees patients at ARC clinics as needed.

Dr. Ostler grew up in southern Utah, near the beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park. When she’s not working, Dr. Ostler enjoys spending time with her husband, running, cooking and dancing. Being relatively new to the community, she says she still has a lot to see in the area, but one of her favorite places so far is Zilker Park.

I chose Family Medicine as my specialty because I didn’t want to work with just one group of people. I love treating all ages and a variety of medical issues, and being the primary care physician for an entire family is very fulfilling. I also have a special interest and training in pediatrics and women’s health issues. I work with my patients to help them be as happy and healthy as possible. In my experience, the art of medicine is 90% listening and 10% everything else.

Front desk was very helpful, I'm really grateful for all their help. I showed up at ARC in Buda thinking I had scheduled the appointment there, with my daughter been sick for a few days I had little sleep and didn't notice I scheduled the appointment at a different location. When I arrived they explained the situation and were very understanding, instead of making me feel awful, they rapidly solve my problem by scheduling at Buda and having my daughter seen. Thank you 😊

The staff is always friendly, helpful. Dr. Ostler was very helpful and informative to me giving me all the advice that I needed facts about my last visit in the hospital. She expressed to me that I needed more test done that day and I am very appreciative of her care.

I really liked the fact that Dr. Ostler took the time to actually listen to what I had to say, and she took time to thoroughly review my history and previous notes in my chart. She also expressed genuine concern in regard to my situation. I was very pleased with her thoughtfulness.

I had a wonderful experience the instant I stepped in the clinic from front desk to when the appointment was over.
