About Gustavo A. Diaz-Reyes, MD, FACS

  • Dr. Reyes, a native of Cali, Colombia, enjoys spending time with his wife and three young daughters when he is not at work. He also tries to play some soccer or volleyball, hiking, and enjoys going to movies and concerts. Among his favorite local spots are Zilker Park and Hamilton Pool.

Growing up, I viewed medicine then, as I still do, as a profession that allows you to serve other people with a significant impact in their lives at a time of need. I believe in serving well, doing no harm, and treating patients as you would treat close and beloved relatives, presenting all the available options for treatment of his/her condition, and helping the patient choose the most reasonable one according to each individual situation.
