About David Pytowski, DPM, FACFAS

  • Dr. Pytowski enjoys spending time with his wife, dogs, and friends. He is a forever runner, vegan, and fitness fanatic who loves everything Austin has to offer, and is usually easy to spot somewhere fun and outdoors in South Austin.

My training is centered on the belief that accurate and efficient treatment hinges on my ability to provide an accurate diagnosis. I find that when treatments are not working, it is usually because the diagnosis is incorrect. Listening to and guiding my patients via very pointed and exact questioning to seek the necessary answers is paramount in my ability to provide that accurate diagnosis. I strive to recommend the most medically sound and proven surgical and non-surgical treatment options to assist you. If you have pain, weakness, or instability in your feet and ankles or during activities, please call my office, as it is my pleasure to treat you, your loved ones, or friends.

    Great doctor.

  • December 27, 2024

It was quick! I got there early and was seen before my appointment time.

  • December 25, 2024

The doctor was just in and out so fast. I just felt like a number being rushed through. I ask the nurse to have him come back in before I left so I could ask a few questions. I know they are busy and trying to see as many people as they can and they squeezed me in that day. That’s just part of it sometimes but it still makes you feel rushed. I was just a little scared and worried that day about my leg.

  • December 24, 2024

The visit was very efficient. I was greeted and checked in as soon as I walked in the door. I felt the staff was quick but effective during the visit. It made me feel that my time was just as valuable as theirs.

  • December 22, 2024

The appointment just felt rushed. Things that I was told I needed were not put into the synopsis of the visit on My Chart. Also, things that were not discussed ended up in the synopsis. Are the doctors using a template to fill this in? Seems likely. I had to call ARC to get my question answered later that day, because it wasn't in the synopsis. I didn't hear back until after the weekend.

I had a PRP procedure done and everyone was great but I do wish the dr would have better discussed post procedure care/recovery with me without me having to ask specifics
