About
Chau B. Nguyen, DO
-
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) in Vietnam. When he is not working, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, working on his herbal/fruit gardens, catching up with Continuing Medical Education (CME), “random YouTube video bingeing,” and martial arts. Being relatively new to Central Texas, he looks forward to exploring the area and all it has to offer.

Growing up and seeing the suffering of patients in Vietnam due to limited resources, knowledge, and insurance structure, I wanted to help as a doctor. Internal Medicine gives me the opportunity to provide comprehensive and holistic solutions for each patient. We were taught that 60-70% of the useful information is from the clinical story, but I believe such information is from listening to patients, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and creating a shared solution that will work for the individual.
