About Andrea S. Raymond, MD

  • Dr. Raymond grew up in San Antonio. In her free time, Dr. Raymond enjoys spending time with her family and dog, hiking, cooking, and traveling. Among her favorite area locales is the Austin greenbelt.

I chose to go into medicine after watching my grandmother navigate her limited access to medical care. I chose Neurology because I found the nervous system fascinating, involving the whole patient. I believe empathetic listening to the patient’s history is the crux of good medical care. People often just want to be heard.

Dr. Raymond takes time to listen to my needs and responds in a positive way. She makes a doctor visit so easy.

  • December 3, 2024

Dr Raymond always seems to get the whole picture. Like explaining that Nuplacid was to treat hallucinations.

  • November 22, 2024

Dr Raymond is extremely thorough and very knowledgeable on all of the disease processes that I have. She also makes sure to keep in contact with all of my other doctors so that we are all on the same page. I have an extremely difficult medical profile. I trust Dr Raymond with not only my treatment, also with my health, care and life.
