About Amy C. Eckerman, APRN, CPNP, RD

  • Amy Eckerman is a native Texan, born in Austin and raised in Victoria. She is a mom to four children in a blended family, three of whom are now grown. When she is not busy with her youngest child’s activities, Amy loves to be outside. She enjoys gardening, walking with her dog, and learning more about Texas flora and fauna. Amy’s favorite locations include the trails around Lady Bird Lake, day trips to the local state parks, floating on the Guadalupe River, and visits to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

Preventive health is my calling. I love helping families stay healthy through evidence-based medicine, education, and one-on-one problem solving. I listen to my patients, as I want to understand their individual needs and their caregivers’ concerns. I want to support kids as they grow and guide families in creating opportunities for life-long health. I use my knowledge and resources as a nurse practitioner, dietitian, and mom to help families in all the ups and downs along the way.

She was welcoming and treated my child with respect.

  • January 11, 2025

Amy Eckerman and back staff are always amazing! Front desk seems a little stressed and sometimes lost on procedure and MyChart set up knowledge-but overall everyone is friendly!

  • January 10, 2025

ARC staff is always kind helpful and supportive, great visit.

  • January 7, 2025

The only thing that could have been better was the wait. A mobile baby does not know how to be patient. It would have been nice to not have to wait so long to be seen.

  • December 19, 2024

Nurse and Ms Amy were very sweet to my daughter. ??
