About
Amanda Y. Rowe, APRN, MSN, FNP-C
-
Amanda Rowe grew up in Slidell, Louisiana. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, working out, rock climbing, hiking, and hanging out with her dog and significant other. Amanda is also “attempting to learn Spanish and how to skateboard,” and is discovering new places in the area.
I chose a career in medicine because I enjoy helping others feel better. I began my nursing career in the ICU and realized that many of my patients were being admitted for things that could have been prevented. That motivated me to focus more on preventive care and optimizing health. I believe in holistic and patient-centered care. I feel it is important to meet the patient where they are.
