About Alinda R. Cox, MD

  • Dr. Cox’s passion is to go on medical mission trips. She has been to Ghana, India, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Haiti, providing medical care to those underdeveloped countries, and believes that those who have privilege should help those who are underprivileged. Dr. Cox enjoys staying physically fit, and says, “my sport is basketball!”

I chose medicine, particularly Ob/Gyn, because I enjoy interacting with people and their families. I love the science of diagnosing a problem and ultimately helping cure a disease. In no other specialty are two lives being taken care of at one time. I thoroughly enjoy this challenge.
