We are pleased to welcome Lindsay G. Spring, APRN, WHNP-BC, Obstetrics/Gynecology, to the team at ARC North Austin Ob/Gyn.
"I love helping, taking care of, and educating people who are in need. I always make an effort to thoroughly educate patients, helping them understand their pregnancies, medications, physical changes, and various disease processes," says Lindsay. "I feel honored to guide and support my patients as they gain knowledge about their bodies, expand their families, and I encourage them to play an active role in their health care."
Remember to take your daily medication
Lindsay offers a few tips to remind her patients to take their birth control pills at the same time every day, including:
- Set a daily alarm on your cell phone
- Purchase a cell phone case with a pocket for the birth control pack so it's always with you
- Leave yourself a visual reminder (Post-It) on the refrigerator, coffee machine, etc. Something you use at approximately the same time daily
She is married and has two daughters who fill up her hours outside of work. When she is not with her family, Lindsay says she enjoys "Entertaining friends, exploring Austin's extensive restaurant scene, and snuggling with my multiple adopted fur babies."
