Schedule a COVID-19 vaccine with your flu shot

Flu clinics are back at ARC, and you can now schedule your flu shot with an updated COVID-19 vaccine. During fall and winter (flu season), flu can spread at a higher rate than usual. ARC physicians and APCs recommend getting both the flu and COVID-19 vaccine before or during October. Since it can take two weeks to fully benefit from a flu and/or COVID-19 shot, the best time for you to schedule an appointment is now.

Patients ages six months and up can receive their flu or COVID-19 vaccine. You can learn more about who needs a flu vaccine and what ARC has available in Be a flu fighter. More information about COVID-19 vaccines at ARC can be found at ARCCovid.com.

Patients who need two doses

ARC physicians and APCs especially recommend booking now for patients ages six months to eight years old who have had NO prior flu vaccine, or patients of any age who have received only ONE prior flu vaccine in their life. Booking now can help you avoid longer wait times later in the season.

Other vaccines ARC is offering

Viruses like COVID-19, pneumonia, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can also pick up during fall and winter. You can request a pneumococcal or RSV vaccine along with your flu shot at any ARC Flu clinic.
