We are happy to announce that Bronta Wegesa, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, has joined the team at ARC Round Rock and ARC Pflugerville as an extensivist in the Medicare Wellness program.
Bronta says, "As a registered nurse, I provided care to many unique individuals, while meeting their healthcare needs." She continues, "To further my passion for providing Texans with health care I decided to further my education and became a nurse practitioner."
Of her desire to become a nurse, Bronta says, "I knew at an early age I wanted to work in health care. This passion has led me to continue studying and growing in evidence-based practice to provide quality care for my patients." She adds, "My love for medicine continues to grow with each patient experience. "
Providing patients with the best care possible
"Since working as a nurse practitioner in urgent care I have received the opportunity of assessing, diagnosing, and evaluating patients from infants to geriatrics, and I have loved and enjoyed taking care of all populations," says Bronta. "I know my experience will help me provide patients with the best care possible."
Bronta gives this health advice to her patients, "A well-balanced diet and exercise daily can make a positive impact with your overall health."
"I enjoy spending time with my daughter, watching her grow and meet milestones at the beginning of her life," says Bronta of her free time. "I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love music, dancing, exercising, watching movies, and traveling."
