Manor families will now have a new choice for accessing primary care as Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) opened a new location — a first in the area – on Wednesday, March 22.
ARC Manor, the new 4,200 square foot primary care clinic, will include Family Medicine and Pediatrics, as well as a Lab.
Like much of the state, Manor has seen a surge of population growth. In 2005, the Census Bureau said the population there was around 2,000. Today, the population of the area including its surrounding sub-divisions is near 11,000 people. As a result, residents have found it difficult to find nearby medical care.
"Convenient primary care is an important need for both adults and children in maintaining their overall health. That's why we're here — offering Manor residents accessible, quality care close to home," said Mary Brown, Clinic Manager for ARC Manor. "We're excited to be opening in this community!"
ARC patients enjoy access to such conveniences as same-day appointments, online appointment scheduling, 24/7 phone scheduling, ARC MyChart patient portal, After Hours Clinics, and nursing services through the night.
ARC Manor is located in the Shadowview Center at 11300 E. Highway 290, Bldg. 2, Suite 230. For more information, visit ARC Manor or call 512-582-6075. Jacqueline Champlain, MD, Family Medicine and Jacques Benun, MD, Pediatrics, are accepting new patients.
A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Thursday, March 30, at 9:30 a.m., open to the community to attend.
