June 1, 2021. Manish M. Naik, MD, Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO), has been named Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for ARC. Dr. Naik will retain his CMIO position in addition to CMO.
Dr. Naik joined ARC in 1996 as an Internal Medicine physician, and has served as Associate Chief of Internal Medicine since 2011. He was named CMIO in 2014, and under his leadership, ARC has made great strides in information technology that allows both physicians and clinical/administrative staff more efficient workflows that result in better physician wellness and patient care.
Dr. Naik serves on the ARC Executive Board, ARC Clinical Quality Committee, and the ARC Pandemic Planning Committee. He is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, serves as Chair of the Central Texas Health Information Collaborative, and is on the Texas Medical Association HIT Committee.
Having received his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, in 1992, Dr. Naik completed his residency and internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, in 1996, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and practices at ARC Cedar Park. He has also been named one of Austin Monthly Magazine's "2021 Top Doctors."
