For the eighth year in a row, Austin Regional Clinic has been named one of the "Top Workplaces" in Austin by the Austin American-Statesman. This marks our 17th workplace excellence award overall.
ARC was recognized as one of the best places to work in the Greater Austin area in the Large Company category, along with 13 other businesses at the Top Workplaces event held Wednesday, November 8.
National recognition for excellence in the healthcare industry and work culture
We were also honored with several national awards from Top Workplace USA.
For the second year in a row, Top Workplace USA awarded ARC Top Workplace in Healthcare. ARC is one of only 84 organizations with 500+ employees across the country honored with this award.

Happier workplace makes for healthier patients
We know that a positive work environment also translates to a healthier community. Our physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and staff feel heard, valued, and appreciated, and as a result, do a great job every day putting patients first and keeping Central Texans healthy. That's why ARC earns national recognition for healthcare quality as well. In fact, ARC, together with Ascension Seton and partners, recently ranked in the top 7% of 482 accountable care organizations nationwide.
ARC continues to stand out as a workplace with good interdepartmental cooperation where employees feel informed, included, and supported. Employees also tell us they feel well-informed by managers who understand what is happening at ARC, care about their concerns, and welcome different points of view.
The "Top Workplaces" program is conducted by Energage along with publishing partners across the U.S., including the Austin American-Statesman. Energage uses feedback from employee surveys to rank organizations. On average, fewer than 3% of eligible organizations earn a Top Workplaces designation, according to the research firm.
