Does screen time cause speech delay?
"According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, just having the TV on in the background, even if ‘no one is watching it,' is enough to delay language development," advises Dr. Vemuri. "When it comes to TV time with your toddler, consider less is more."
Dr. Vemuri says she enjoys "Spending time with my husband and super active young son, long drives in the countryside," in her free time, adding, "Listening to music, gardening, and cooking are my stressbusters."
