We are happy to welcome Rachael E.P. Seddighzadeh, DO, MS, to the General Surgery team at ARC South 1st Specialty & Pediatrics. She is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive/Advanced Colorectal Surgery from Houston Colon & UT Health.
Dr. Seddighzadeh is now scheduling appointments for clinic visits beginning October 24.
Dr. Seddighzadeh says, "I value open and honest conversation with my patients so they can make informed medical decisions, and we can cater the treatment plan to each individual's needs. Medical care should be personal."
Prevention is key
Dr. Seddighzadeh's health tip for patients? "Prevention, prevention, prevention! Move your body, be conscious of what you're eating, get regular checkups, and follow through with recommended screenings, and hopefully, you'll never need surgery at all!"
In her free time, Dr. Seddighzadeh says she enjoys "Singing anywhere and everywhere…karaoke, choir, the shower, you name it! And exploring Austin eateries, traveling the world with my family, experimenting in the kitchen, and embracing every moment with my husband and children."
