ARC Gastroenterologists and APCs specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of issues in the digestive system, or gastrointestinal tract (GI). They work with your primary doctor to provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a wide variety of digestive conditions.
"It is important that I understand the needs and concerns of my patients so we can work together towards a treatment plan they understand, feel comfortable with, is sustainable, and meets their goals," Laurel says.

Laurel's advice? "Trust your gut! If your GI symptoms are keeping you from doing things you enjoy, get it checked out."
In her free time, Laurel says, "My husband and I enjoy the Austin music and culinary scene—we have found there is always something new to discover. Playing piano, guitar, and singing gives me the opportunity to relax at home. I also enjoy water sports, running, and hiking the Austin greenbelt trails."
