Norman H. Chenven, MD

Founder and Founding CEO, ARC


Dr. Chenven, a Family Medicine physician, founded ARC in 1980 and currently serves as the Founding CEO. ARC has grown in the past 45 years to provide essential healthcare services throughout Centra Texas.

He serves as a Board Member of the Austin Healthcare Council and has a long history of medical community leadership. He is nationally recognized as an expert in the delivery of value-based medical services.

Dr. Chenven received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Brown University, his medical degree from the State University of New York Medical Science Center in Brooklyn, and post graduate training at Bexar County Hospital in San Antonio. He served for two years on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona as a general medical officer in the U.S. Indian Health Service.
