Now Open: Austin Regional Clinic's New 20,000 Square Foot Primary Care Clinic in Cedar Park

-- Former Cedar Park Clinic To Be Converted Into Same-Day Care Center Called ARC NOW --

December 12, 2016 – Austin, Texas – Austin Regional Clinic’s much-anticipated 20,000 square foot Cedar Park clinic is now open for patients. The milestone kicks off another nearby project for ARC — conversion of the former Cedar Park clinic into a stand-alone center offering same-day urgent care services.

Open on December 12, the new two-story, ARC Cedar Park consolidates primary care services from nearby ARC clinics into one convenient location boasting 52 exam rooms, two treatment rooms and a laboratory, with nearby radiology. Family medicine and pediatric care at the former ARC Cedar Park clinic and ARC Discovery have moved to the new location. Both of those clinics are now closed. Internal Medicine physicians from ARC Cedar Park Medical Plaza have also relocated to the new clinic.

“Our new clinic offers most of the care people need all in one location with additional conveniences like check-in kiosks and on-site lab services,” said ARC Cedar Park Clinic Manager Darlene Guynes.

The newest clinic expands ARC’s network of primary and specialty care clinics, which today spans three counties and serves 430,000 patients. The project broke ground in January 2016 and was constructed using sustainable materials manufactured by Central Texas-based Bautex Systems, LLC.

Renovation work on the former Cedar Park location into a same-day care center called ARC NOW will begin soon. It will be ARCs first stand-alone facility for urgent care services. ARC NOW is expected to be open by spring 2017.

“Providing the full scope of primary care at ARC Cedar Park as well as same day care at ARC NOW is an important way we can help to cultivate a healthy and rapidly growing Cedar Park community,” continued Guynes.

The two facilities are located across from each other on East Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park in what is increasingly known as a “medical hub” for Cedar Park, Leander and surrounding areas.
