Kyle Physician as “the Guardian of Your Health”

As your family medicine doctor, Dr. Shane Constable sees himself as “the guardian of your health.” Watch his video to learn more about how he does this by ensuring you feel listened to and understood at ARC Kyle Plum Creek.

Relating and Helping You Understand

“My goal is to make sure you feel listened to and understood,” Dr. Constable said. “And that you feel like there is a good plan in place.”

After hearing your story and gaining an understanding of what you’re experiencing, Dr. Constable does two things. First, he helps you understand what’s happening from a medical perspective: what’s going on with your body and what will happen next. Second, he offers you options for treatment and works with you to find the best solution for you.

“I've been sick and so I want to make sure I'm allowing you to be able to tell your story,” Dr. Constable said.

Another item he addresses is preventing future medical problems with preventive care like screenings and immunizations.

Inspired to Care for You

The one thing Dr. Constable treasures about his practice is you: “developing the relationship with the patients over the long term, helping to prevent problems before they start, and then also helping to treat acute problems.”

As a child, Dr. Constable saw first-hand the impact a physician can make to patients. His grandfather, now retired, was a family medicine doctor.

“I was able to see him interact with some of the patients and they were always so grateful and so thankful. You could really see that it really meant a lot to them,” Dr. Constable said. “I was really inspired a lot by my grandfather.”
