ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn Now Open

New North Austin location offers delivery at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, Midwifery

August 1, 2017 – Austin, Texas – Women who wish to deliver at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center (NAMC) or have their pregnancy guided by a certified nurse midwife now have that option at Austin Regional Clinic.

ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn is the newest addition to the Austin Regional Clinic family and is located just minutes away from NAMC at 12174 North MoPac.

The new practice offers full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecological care from pre- and postnatal care to women's reproductive health including menstruation, menopause, hormonal changes, and more. At ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn, women may choose to have an Ob/Gyn or a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) as their healthcare provider. Certified Nurse Midwives are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and work collaboratively with ARC Nurture ob/gyns. Like ARC physicians, they deliver at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, and can prescribe pain medications.

Dr. Andrea Campaigne owned the practice Nurture Ob/Gyn which was acquired by ARC. She will continue to see her patients at the new clinic as will her two Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), Amy Lindsey, DNP, CNM and Bergen Vardell, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC. Dr. Caroline Kaufman, ARC Ob/Gyn, has moved her practice from ARC Cedar Park Medical Plaza Ob/Gyn to ARC Nurture and Dr. Anita Sandhu, Ob/Gyn, will move her practice to ARC Nurture in November.

“Women want to be able to deliver close to home. Our newest location, ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn helps us make this an option for our pregnant or soon-to-be pregnant patients who live in north Austin,” said Dr. Anas Daghestani, ARC CEO.

ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn is located at 12174 North MoPac. For more information, call 512-272-4636 or visit the ARC Nurture North Ob/Gyn clinic page.
