ARC Now Accepts Sendero Health Plan

Austin, Texas – All 53,000 members of Sendero Health Plans can now seek care at Austin Regional Clinic, one of the largest private primary and specialty care medical groups in Central Texas.

"Sendero Health Plan's mission is to provide affordable, quality care to the community. We are excited that with this new agreement, Sendero members now have access to ARC's extensive network of quality providers and locations," said Wes Durkalski, Sendero CEO. ARC has 22 clinic locations across Travis, Hays and Williamson counties, offering access to more than 325 primary and specialty care providers.

Sendero is a local non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas, focused on improving access to health care for Central Texans via its health insurance exchange (HIE) product, IdealCare, and its publicly funded health plans for low income families and individuals — Texas CHIP and STAR plans, and Texas CHIP Perinatal plan.

“We share a similar mission, to improve the health of our community by making it easier for individuals to access quality healthcare when they need it,” explained Anas Daghestani, MD, Austin Regional Clinic CEO. “We’re pleased to extend that type of access to Sendero’s members.”

Sendero’s IdealCare has received a surge of interest following the departure of major health insurance plans from the Texas health insurance marketplace.

Existing individual and family Sendero Health Plans are effective through December 31, 2017. Enrollment for 2018 begins November 1, 2017.
