ARC’s Newest Internist Enjoys Nature and Human Physiology
December 20, 2017
Austin Regional Clinic is pleased to announce that David C. Gray, MD, Internal Medicine physician, has joined the teams at ARC Pflugerville and ARC Hutto.
“I enjoyed learning human physiology in school, and found a way to apply what I learned to help people by becoming an Internal Medicine physician,” he says. “I enjoy not only finding the best treatment,” Dr. Gray continues, “but also helping patients understand their medical problem so they can help themselves and become more involved in their own treatment. My philosophy is to listen to the patient and help them explain what they are experiencing.”
A true nature lover, Dr. Gray enjoys walks through the woods, watching the night sky, identifying bird songs, and caring for rescued animals. So naturally, his favorite Central Texas spots are “all the natural areas and the amazing plant life that inhabits them!”
When asked about a health tip to share, Dr. Gray points to diabetes, a chronic but manageable disease. “Diet is the key to diabetes,” he says, “both its treatment and prevention. The brain plays a significant role in this as well as in weight management, with its constant communication to all the organs that manager our bodies’ sugars, fats, and energy use.”
To schedule an appointment with Dr. Gray, go online or call ARC Pflugerville at 512-989-2680 or ARC Hutto at 877-846-1244.
Welcome to Austin Regional Clinic, Dr. Gray!
