Improved adult primary care lab summaries

Improved adult primary care lab summaries

On March 5, 2024, we began using automatically generated messages to quickly share explanations of commonly ordered lab results through ARC MyChart. These summaries provide a more thorough explanation of the results with some basic instructions, as needed. The protocols used to generate the summaries have been reviewed and validated by ARC physicians. This was implemented throughout ARC Family Medicine and Internal Medicine with plans to add the lab results of the remaining specialties over the next several months. For more details and what you’ll see, read the article on the ARC Blog.

Care teams include advanced practice clinicians (APCs)

Your ARC care team includes advanced practice clinicians (APCs)

ARC has steadily added advanced practice clinicians (APCs) to our healthcare teams to provide additional access and high-quality care for patients.

APCs, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants, play a crucial role in your healthcare journey. They are indicated by the credentials after their name. A nurse practitioner will always have APRN (advanced practice registered nurse) after their name in the state of Texas, and a physician assistant will always have a PA after their name.

Learn more about their expertise and services in this article on the ARC Blog.
